Here is a cover of Fever Ray’s “When I Grow Up” by a folk duo by the name of First Aid Kit.

This song “Job’s Coffin” features Tori Amos’s daughter singing. Tori Amos has always had a very unique sound, and to feature her daughter on a few of her songs for her new album “Night of Hunters” just shows how she strives to be different from the rest.

I really love the sound of the fuzzy distorted guitar part. Here is the second track off of St. Vincent’s new album Strange Mercy.

There’s something tropical about this song…

In my opinion, “Why I Love You” is the best song on the album. I don’t really know why “Otis” was made their single when there are definitely stronger songs on the album. “Lift Off” is another that I think is radio-ready, but it may be a few more weeks before we hear it on the radio.
